The 6th round of the World Championship was
held this Sunday at Donington in England. Hannes showed good speed in
the wet free practices with 7th position in FP1. He improved his time in
qualification, which was held in dry conditions, constantly and secured
P16 with only 0.7 seconds from P10. In the race he improved his
position by two places and battled with Kyle Smith for the 13th place
with 0.3 seconds between them at the finish.
"It was a very good weekend. We found a great setup for the bike in the
wet and understood the bike even more in the dry. The team worked very
calmly and well through out the weekend - if we'd work like that every
weekend, we'd make great and stable progress. Next up is Brno which is a
new track for me but I hope we can continue in the same line. A big
thank you for the team for their great job and to the sponsors and
supporters who make it possible!" - Hannes
